I recently purchased my new car from L Foster Autos. I was really impressed with there online listing. There pictures and video of the vehicle were excellent. I called up and left a £100 refundable holding deposit to take the vehicle off sale until I could view it. I went over today and the car was exactly as Lance had described. I was given all the time I wanted to look over the vehicle and ask questions. The test drive we went on allowed me to test the vehicle as I wished and even get up to the national speed limit. Can't recommend this place enough. Definitely 5 stars

BMW M3
I recently purchased a BMW M3 from L Foster Autos. I was looking for a Xdrive to use as a daily car for commuting to work and various other things. I wanted something that had performance and looks but could be reserved if needed. Lance at L Foster Autos had the perfect car, finished in Brooklyn grey with the ultimate pack and carbon styling. From the first phone call I had some questions which were all answered with great knowledge. Lance did me a walk round video of the vehicle showing it close up and with the engine running. I left a refundable holding deposit to reserve the car until I could get to see it. Upon viewing it I must say it was exactly as I hoped there were no surprises or anything to mention. There showroom is really impressive and immaculate. Ill be in touch with them when I'm next looking for a car or wish to sell mine back to them

I recently Purchased my BMW from L Foster Autos and I couldn't be happier with it. I initially called and spoke to Lance who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. After going over everything about the car I left a £100 refundable holding deposit to take the car off sale until the weekend when I could get to view it. As soon as I walked in the showroom I got a instant good feeling about the place. My BMW was exactly as described and drove superb. GREAT SERVICE AT L FOSTER AUTOS LTD
I met Larry and Lance @ L Foster Autos Ltd when I found the car I wanted on Auto trader. And they were so Respectful and polite to say the least. I felt very much welcomed and didn't look any where else. They were very truthful with everything about the car as they had posted in the advert and my mechanic confirmed as well. Larry even went the extra mile to bring the car home (which wasn't part of the package advertised) for me with me in it because I had not sorted my insurance out yet. In all, I had a great and wonderful experience with L Foster Autos Ltd and will definitely be getting my next car from them. I will highly recommend L Foster Autos Ltd any day and at any time. Good Cust Service Pre & post sales.
Interesting for a dealership to have this sort of customer service, but the post sales service is off the scale. A few issues with the car but these got rectified myself with their help in providing what was needed. Car was pre-AA inspected being a Cat S and only a couple of minor issues which got sorted very quickly. A proud owner of a 21 Audi Q3 and loving it for the bargain price paid!!!

I cannot praise Foster Autos highly enough. Having worked in the motor trade myself for 20 + years and knowing the challenges used cars and the connection people have with their pride and joy, Foster Autos really are a shining light and and example to all other motor traders on how to get it right. I had been looking for my dream car (BMW X5, 4ltr M Sport) the spec I wanted for over 5 months and I finally found it at Fosters Autos. I called them and spoke to Lance who advised, he had already taken a deposit and was awaiting for finance to clear, I was gutted. I offered cash there and then and would pay in full and pick up that day, Lance declined, respected the agreement he had from the deposit he had taken. I left my number and asked him to call me if the finance was declined. 2 days later Lance called to say it had declined and the car was available, I gave deposit over the phone, 2 days later travelled to B'ham to view. Greeted by Larry who was polite, accommodating and funny! offered refreshments and invited me to look around the car. Left me alone, no pressure sales to take as much time as I needed. Car was exactly as advertised, well prepped, brand new MOT. Lance arrived and you could instantly see the warm, family run business this is. Into the office for the paperwork, all efficient and arranged my tax for me and provided all the vehicle paperwork. Plenty of fuel in the tank to get me back to Bristol. Car is amazing. I cannot praise highly enough how good this business is, Lance and Larry really do understand what customer service and value for money means. Well done and thank you to you both.

Dear Lance,i would like to write a few kind words to thank you for the recent experience, i contacted you on the 05/06/2023 (Sunday) which you returned my email that afternoon, even though it said you were closed, we spoke through the car i was going to get (Audi Q3) and paid you a deposit of £100 to secure car, This car was supposed to be a surprise for my wife, i ended up telling her that evening what the surprise was, but she was very anxious that the car was too big for her. The next morning i text Lance to tell him the car was not suitable at present, And he replied with a lovely message telling me not to worry and to send me my bank details to refund my £100. Honestly your reviews do you credit, my money was in my account that morning. First class dealership. puts the larger garages to shame. i will definitely be doing business with yourselves in the future. Thanks again Lance.

Excellent car dealership, warm, friendly and welcoming.
Had a great experience with Lance buying a Mazda MX5. The car was in Birmingham and I was in West Wales. Over the phone the car was secured with a deposit and I got the train down to pick it up. They paid for a taxi for me to be picked up from the station to the showroom and it was a very pleasant experience buying the car. Drove back to Wales with a big smile on my face.

Outstanding Customer Service
Outstanding service. Family run business who bent over backwards to help me on a day when everything went against me. Travelling from Scotland we started the day by sitting in a plane at Glasgow airport for 3 hours before it was cancelled, then waited 2 hours for a train which then ran 2 hours late. In the end we met at a station in Birmingham and the owners of L. Foster Autos finally set for home at 8:00pm on a Friday night. They couldn't have done more - and the car is all it was said . It was a daunting task for me personally , going for the single biggest purchase of my Life, But Larry helped me to the process , answered all my queries and went above and beyond to answer my questions both technical and financial regarding my purchase . One of the best car purchase experience I've had!
Having read the reviews I decided to take a trip from South Wales to Birmingham to view a Vw Tiguan r-line . I reserved the car with Lance and on arrival was met by his dad Larry what a guy, we were left to look over the the car with no assistance from anyone and certainly no hard sell. Lance completed the sale and I can honestly say it was probably one of the best car purchase experience I've had ! Oh and yes the cups of tea were a bonus!! Thanks again guys keep it up ..

I came up from London with my son and daughter-in-law to look at BMW X1. I was greeted by Larry (the father) and had been corresponding with Lance (son). Family run business we met as a customer and left as friends (after several cups of tea). A great honest family firm - highly recommend
L Foster Autos are not your typical "Used Car Sales Company" They are a great family run firm with honesty and integrity at the core of their business. From the first contact with Lance to driving off the forecourt with the wife's dream car , we were fully informed of the process of the sale and nothing was too much trouble for them. When viewing the car there was no pressure as often seen with other sellers. When we came to collect the car all paperwork was ready for a swift handover (complete with a proper cup of tea). There are sadly not enough of companies like L Foster Autos left nowadays. If you are looking for a car you should call these guys first.

Have no bad words to say about the experience my wife had buying her 1.4 Corsa ltd edition. From the first phone call the guys were polite, professional and not pushy. Car was as described- there was one little bit to do with some trim I picked up on during the first viewing which they immediately offered to have corrected f.o.c before we picked it up. Purely for her own peace of mind, have taken it to a garage for our regular mechanic to look over and he said it is in spot on condition and they have sold us a great car! Really pleased with the whole experience of buying from them and when my car packs in will keep an eye if they've got another good quality, well priced, as described car for myself. Refreshing to meet a young man/garage with an understanding of business..as I arrived 1/2 late for a 9am meeting (Not used to Birmingham Traffic) was welcomed with "would you like a drink Neil, Tea Coffee or water?".. Nice one Leonard, I appreciated that after a long drive.....The showroom was impeccably designed and decked out, very clean and tidy, impressive even.... I then went to the loo which I can only describe as 5star, so tidy and nice smelling!! I bought a M5 BMW from LF,the car was exactly as described, I was offered a fair trade in for the vehicle I arrived in (R32).... he even reduced by a further £20 when he noted the golf had a chunk of fuel still in it. Why can't main dealers be like this?
Great experience. Viewed an Alfa Mito for my son when down on business from Glasgow. I was given the keys and told me to look round the car with no pressure. The car was absolutely immaculate and presented to a really high standard. Phoned back a couple of days later and bought the car. Took the train down and was picked up from New Street station and taken to the showroom. Driven the car back and it drives as good as it looks. Main dealers could take a lesson from here. Been to 2 Merc dealers here in Glasgow looking for a new company car, one I was completely ignored despite loads of sales people and the other I was subjected to the full "˜double glazing' sales experience. Couldn't be more different. Would happily recommend L Foster and proves that good honest car buying is possible from the right people. Ken.

I decided on Friday night that I fancied an Audi A5, I set my search to national to see what was about and found a gem, only 20 miles from home at L.Foster Auto's. We went over on Saturday morning and were greeted warmly, dealt with brilliantly and ended with a fair deal. Nothing seemed too much for they guys here and made me, my wife and my daughter feel extremely welcome. A gem of a dealer. Honest and friendly
L Foster motors is what I can only describe as an old school honest car dealer. I was searching Ireland and the Uk for a specific very rare car. I viewed almost twelve other cars and all were not as described. Before I eventually give up L Foster motors had one up for sale. After reading reviews on the dealer I was amazed. I contacted them and they sent me videos and pictures of anything requested. I bought the car blind and got it sent to Ireland. Everything was as stated in advert and Leonard and his team couldn't have been or any more help. A great old school car dealer. Honest and not trying to hide anything. Not many dealers left like this. I will be using L Foster again even tho I am in Ireland. Highly recommend this gem of a car dealership. Well done.

I don't usually leave reviews, but in this case I felt I needed too as the experience was first class!. I could not find a fault in my buying experience from L Fosters Autos, right from placing my order to taking delivery of my new car. I have been searching for a car for a while, but when going to dealerships or garages the cars have not quite been what they described and salespeople did not seemed bothered. This was definitely not the case at L Fosters autos. The car was immaculate inside and out, and the sales team kept me up to date all the way through the process. Great Dealer, Great Car, Highly Recommended
I purchased a car from L Foster's and the guys were very helpful throughout the buying process, and the car was exactly as described. A couple of minor issues I found before purchase were checked and rectified, and the car was MOT'd and serviced before I took delivery. Unfortunately, after a few weeks of ownership, I found a few issues with the car. These were issues that the dealer couldn't have known about and they were were very intermittent, so tricky to diagnose and replicate. I took the car back in to the dealer, and they got them sorted, even though they took significant time and effort to diagnose and fully fix. They went above and beyond my expectations of service from a used car dealer, and I have no hesitation in recommending them. I would definitely buy from them again.

First Class Service, Highly Recommended.
I purchased my Mercedes E250 CDI Sport back in January and i have to say i was very impressed with the service. Arranged everything over the phone, all questions / concerns answered then drove down to collect the car over 400miles away! At this point there are always nerves about whether the car was going to live up to the advert / pictures in the flesh but if anything it was in even better condition. I was made to feel very welcome and the whole experience was very pleasant and professional. No hard sell involved at any point and very genuine people. All of the cars are detailed to an Excellent standard. I had 1 issue with the car during the initial warranty period which they would have fixed straight away had i lived closer but we came to an agreement over the phone and i got it sorted. Overall a breath of fresh air regarding my previous experiences with traders and when i look for my next car i wouldn't hesitate to buy again from here. Thanks again to Leonard and co.

The car itself was immaculate & exactly as stated in the advert. I never felt pressured at all or given the hard sell. All my questions were answered and the car was actually price matched for a similar one I had seen privately advertised in Sheffield. However, the benefits of buying from L Foster Autos vs private were numerous including 3 months warranty included for peace of mind as well as an MOT which was carried out just before I took ownership & Merc FSH. The car was thoroughly cleaned & valeted. On the day I was due to collect the car they even delivered it to my house. They also gave me a courtesy call a month later. Would not hesitate to recommend!

Customer service WIN !
In all my years of buying cars from dealers, I have never had an experience quite like it. The customer service is something else. I took a train to pick up my car. I was picked up from the station, tea and coffee at the ready while we were doing the paperwork. Great family banter going on in the office. All the vehicles were carefully selected and immaculate. My X5 needed a park sensor which wasn't working and it was in the post next day. I will travel the 80+ miles from the Cotswolds to get my next car from them.

We bought a Porsche Boxster from this garage which had very low miles and was in lovely condition for its age (2002 model) Advertised as being in pristine condition (which it was) When we decided to buy it was noticed by the garage that the hood rear window needed to be restitched and they agreed to get this done and deliver to us which was done. However, the following day the engine management light came on which was analysed and found to be an electronic switch that had never before caused problems I returned the car was given a courtesy vehicle and it was sorted completely under warranty

A place you can trust. They will honour there guarantees/warranty. I will recommend and only buy from them in the future they have proved themselves to me. They even took apart and fixed my air vents so they cover literally everything for the first three months. Bare in mind this was a second hand car!

Went down to l foster autos the weekend and had the pleasure of meeting Leonard and lance who in my opinion are two of the most genuine car traders I've ever met, they showed me to the car and left me to take a look around it all in my own time and without any pressure even made me a coffee whilst I checked the car over which was absolutely stunning and even better then it looked on the video, I left them a deposit on Saturday and they had my car all serviced and mot'd ready for me to collect Tuesday, really can't thank these guys enough and would highly recommend anybody to go and buy a car from this garage..

Top set of fellas. Turned up to look at the car, offered a brew as soon as I stepped foot in the garage and I was just left too browse round the car, no mither, no sales pitch, how it should be! Noticed a few little niggly things on the car Id like sorted when I chatted to the lads, it was noted and I was told they would be sorted at no extra cost and it wasn't a problem. Spot on. When I went to pick the car up I was even picked up at the train station. Visited L Foster Autos Ltd in November 2016 to view a BMW Z4. I had been to many other garages looking for this particular car, however none were close to the quality of the car at L Foster Autos Ltd. Very helpful and friendly staff. Car came with 3months warranty and had a problem in the first month. Car was repaired with all Vauxhall parts and replacement car given until my car was fixed. Didn't pay a penny extra for this Excellent service would definitely use again.
