Warranty

This guarantee is valid for 3 months & or 3000 miles whichever comes first from the date printed with the exclusion of damage arising from customer / third party interference, routine wear and tear, negligence, abuse and accidental damage.

If faults arise on the vehicle, then do not attempt to drive further as this may cause extensive damage to other components. Please contact the dealer at the earliest opportunity for guidance.

Terms and Conditions

1. This is an "in house" guarantee and as such any faults are to be brought back to us for inspection and repair. The dealer (Xenon Automotive Ltd) is entitled to choose whether repairs are to be undertaken "in house" or by a third-party garage.

1.1. Repairs undertaken by a third-party garage must be agreed by the dealer. Authorised repairs by a third-party garage will only be covered once. No further claims will be upheld.

1.2. Any repairs authorised by you, commenced or completed by your repairing garage without first being authorised by the dealer may be invalidated.

1.3. The guarantee will cover the costs for authorised repairs including parts and labour.

1.4. Repair requests may be invalidated if the completed diagnostic form is not received by the dealer within 21 days of the repair request being made.

1.5. The dealer will only authorise the use of manufacturer's parts where reconditioned or generic parts are not available. We also reserve the right to review and adjust the price of covered parts in line with reconditioned and generic parts at trade pricing. If you wish to use genuine manufacturer parts or the parts priced by your chosen repairing garage, you can do so, but you will be liable for the additional costs of these parts.

1.6. The dealer is entitled to choose whether to repair or replace a component covered by this guarantee. Components may be second hand, reconditioned, a factored part or a manufacturers own part. This choice of the part is down to the discretion of the dealer.

1.7. The dealer will not pay more than once for the same repair if the repairs are undertaken by a third-party garage. Incorrect or incomplete diagnosis will not be covered.

1.8. Any repair work undertaken by the dealers' approved garages are warranted for 6 months or 6000 miles.

2. The dealer will require a UK VAT invoice for repairs showing the repairers VAT number, made out to Xenon Automotive LTD, Unit 12 Blenheim Court, Welwyn Garden City, AL7 1AD. The dealer will not reimburse the VAT if the customer has paid the repair amount authorised by the administrator.

2.1. In all cases, the dealer reserves the right to request photographic evidence and to appoint an independent assessor to examine any fault, breakdown, quotation or repair undertaken at any time, the result of which is binding by all parties.

3. The guarantee will only cover you for faults which arise and are repaired in the UK; using parts provided by a UK VAT registered supplier.

4. The dealer may use its discretion to authorise a repair on a goodwill basis which would otherwise have been excluded. This does not set any precedent for future repair requests.

5. The guarantee will be deemed as invalid if the vehicle has been used for rallies, pace making, reliability trials, speed testing, track days or for gain and hire.

6. The owner of the vehicle is responsible for routinely checking oil and water levels and items such as tyre pressures and depth. Routing serviceable items such as spark plugs, oil, oil filters, air filters are the responsibility of the owner.

7. Engine: Covered for internal component / mechanical failure. Head gaskets are covered.

8. Turbo: Covered against failures

9. Gearbox: Gearboxes and clutches are covered against internal failure. Worn clutches will be covered if the vehicle is below 8 years old and less than 80,000 miles.

10. EngFlywheelsine: Covered for internal component / mechanical failure. Head gaskets are covered.

11.Electrical faults, Engine management and ECU failures, ABS pumps, Wheel speed sensors, Sensors (Pressure, MAF, O2, Crank, Cam & DPF), Gear linkage, Gear cable, Coil packs, Oil cooler, EGR valves, Alternator, Starter motor, Oil and water leaks.

-Radiator (not if leaking to penetration of a foreign object), Window regulators, Wiper motors, Washer pumps, Airbag warning light & Battery.

13.EXCLUSIONS

13.1. Wear and tear items such as brake pads/discs, Coil springs, Shock absorbers, Ball joints, Top mounts and struts, AC gas, Exhaust systems including catalytic converters, Tyres and road wheels.

13.2. Brake pipes, Brake Servo, Hoses and pipes, Thermostats

13.3. Damage to the engine or gearbox causing the loss of oil and thereby leading to component failure

13.4. Cam belts and Timing belts (please check the manufacturers recommended intervals).

13.5. Vehicle entertainment systems including Sat Nav.

13.6. Interior switches and storks.

13.7. All bulbs (standard or led).

13.8. Failure of components wholly or partly due to negligence, abuse or accidental damage.

13.9. Cosmetic issues of any sort
